Her delicate petals
cast lightly over
rays of gold
outstretched
blue and silver folds
cupping the warmth
as she waits patiently...
silent
and alone.

Very nice!!
Michelle, this is a beautiful composition, love the colors, too. I missed most of the irises this year...have to wait a whole year now to capture them. Great image!
